Each year, colleagues across each of our branches nominate local charities to fundraise for and 2024 proved to be another exceptional year that saw a grand total of £78,182.74 raised for seven different charities. 
 
To mark the fundraising achievements of the year gone by, on Wednesday 29th January, key charity partners and supporters from across the business were invited to enjoy a breakfast reception and presentation at the Imperial Room at Bettys Harrogate. 

Collaborative CEO member and Group Finance and Resources Director, Paul Cogan, hosted the event and welcomed representatives from IDAS, Millie Wright Children’s Charity, Our Angels, Candlelighters, Nell Bank, York’s Women Counselling and Herriot Hospice Homecare at the Lambert. 

The event was a special occasion for the branch charity coordinators to share some information about the activities each team organised as part of their fundraising, as well as spotlighting each charity and showcasing how the funds raised will be used to support those most in need. Each charity was also presented with a personalised cake, created by the Bettys Cake Decorating team.
