Over 130 riders took on the challenge, starting their day with breakfast in the Belmont Room at Bettys York. The ride then proceeded to Bettys at Harlow Carr for mid-morning refreshments, Ilkley for lunch and a final stop at The White Swan at Wighill – where a number of village volunteers kindly gave up their time to help serve afternoon tea. As ever, there was also an option to increase the 80-mile ride to 125 miles by taking in breakfast at Bettys Northallerton.
This year was particularly special as we celebrated reaching the landmark 20th ride and what this has meant to those taking part over the years. Plenty of riders couldn’t wait to share their thoughts, including colleagues from across the business. The ride is a real team effort involving colleagues from across our Taylors business as well as all the Bettys branches involved, and we simply couldn’t do it without them.
