Awards
At the beginning of May, we were delighted to hold our first Group-wide Supplier of the Year event. Back for the first time since the pandemic, these awards marked a relaunch of the celebration, honouring those suppliers who consistently go above and beyond in their commitment to quality and service.
This year, we recognised outstanding partners from across Tea, Coffee, Packaging, Bettys and Central Procurement. Our 2026 winning suppliers were:
Motigo Factory, KTDA – Tea Supplier of the Year
Rwanda Trading Company – Coffee Supplier of the Year
Belmont Packaging – Packaging Supplier of the Year
All4Labels UK – Bettys Supplier of the Year
Covalent Systems – Central Procurement Supplier of the Year
Representatives from all five winning businesses joined us for several days immersed at Bettys & Taylors, from bakery and factory tours to tastings and presentations, culminating in the awards ceremony itself.
At the heart of the Awards was a renewed focus on the importance of values-led relationships. What stood out most was the opportunity to spend time together, hearing directly from our suppliers about their ideas and plans for the year ahead, and their experience working with us.
“The whole experience served as a reminder of the great relationship we have with you, the good work we have done together, but also the great work required going forward.”
– JJ Ndayisenga, Rwanda Trading Company
“With how fast-paced business can be, it was a fantastic opportunity to step away and experience things from a different perspective. It was such a valuable experience. It was also fantastic to meet the other award winners and get to know them – it was both inspiring and, at times, quite humbling.”
– Andrea Richardson, All4Labels UK
“We came away feeling both appreciated and proud. It was so lovely of you all to recognise your suppliers so positively. Thank you all for being you, in an ever-divisive world, it was heartwarming to be part of such a kind and multinational event.”
– Kate Hulley, Belmont Packaging
As a family business, long-term relationships are at the heart of how we work, making it especially rewarding to hear how much this year’s recipients valued the opportunity to spend time with colleagues from across the Group. The event reinforced the strength of our partnerships, celebrating what we’ve achieved together and the opportunities ahead.
Bringing the awards to life was a true team effort, made possible by colleagues from across the Group. Their support helped create a memorable experience for our suppliers, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming next year’s winners.
